Warner Bros. and Legendary have set a streaming premiere date for their cultural phenomenon, A Minecraft Movie, based on the hit video game of the same name. The film will begin streaming globally on Max on Friday, June 20, debuting on HBO linear on Saturday, June 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

After dominating the box office, fans of A Minecraft Movie have very little time to wait for it to be available to stream, with news that it'll be arriving on Max by next week.

No need to exit out of creative mode just yet - “A Minecraft Movie” has set a Max streaming date for June 20. Based on the sandbox “Minecraft” game that was first developed by Sweden’s Mojang Studios in 2011,
