The National Weather Service has issued an advisory for Northern Ohio, warning residents that they may see funnel clouds this afternoon.

Some storms were capable of producing heavy rain, gusty winds and lightning. Some areas in central Ohio are experiencing flooding.

Destructive tornadoes have hit states such as Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and Indiana this season as activity shifts east.

Monday's rain in Pinellas County forced many in the community to pause certain rebuilding efforts. Last Wednesday, a tornado touched down in a neighborhood in Largo, destroyed many homes.
