Disney+ announced the streaming date for "Moana 2" on Tuesday. The film will be available on the streaming service March 12.

"Moana 2" is the sequel to the 2016 Disney movie, that follows the title character, Moana, and a mischievous demigod, Maui, on an all new adventure, and released in theaters on Thanksgiving.

Moana 2 premiered on digital several weeks ago, and the Disney sequel is finally winding down its run at the box office after becoming one of only three films to gross over $1 billion globally.

“Moana 2” premiered in theaters in November, but a Disney+ release date has not been announced. “Moana 2” is currently available to rent or buy on Apple TV+, Prime Video and YouTube.
