Goldfish Swim School in Franklin is hosting a family Swim & Screen event. Members and nonmembers are all welcome to swim, learn about pool safety and watch the new Netflix movie The Sea Beast.

World champion swimmer Ryan Murphy, his parents and grandfather celebrated the grand opening of Goldfish Swim School — Saint Johns on Wednesday.

In addition to swim lessons, Goldfish offers family swim sessions for both members and non-members as well as party packages.

Tyler, a franchise owner of Goldfish Swim School locations in Glen Ellyn and St. Charles, visited Belize again this January with a team of 15 others.

Families can enjoy a fun, family-friendly event at Goldfish Swim School Northbrook to celebrate Leap Day. RSVP required.

At both Goldfish and Saf-T-Swim, which has 13 Long Island locations, babies begin in the pool along with a parent or caregiver and without flotation devices.

Following the closure of Lester’s, a beloved store at 1534 Second Ave. this year, Goldfish Swim School will move in to teach kids aquatic essentials.
