5 Things Edge's Mobile Browser Does Better Than Chrome - MSNEdge Looks Better . Right off the bat, the first thing that stood out to me about the Edge mobile browser is how much better it looks compared to Chrome.
Technically, Edge mobile got a new name on iOS and Android to start 2024. Microsoft added "AI Browser" to the name of Edge on both the App Store and Play Store listings for the browser.
But now, just like Edge on desktop, the Edge mobile app can view the contents of a webpage you're currently looking at and assist you with contextual questions and answers.
Current mobile browsing stats aren't very promising for Edge, either. NetMarketShare data tabs Chrome as the leader on smartphones, too, accounting for 57 percent of mobile web browsing.
To get extension support on mobile, Update the Microsoft Edge browser to the latest version (134.0.3124.57 on Android). Click on the menu , select the extension icon, and get access to all extensions.
