The shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of North. Second Street in a multifamily home that is next door to the Dupo Village Hall and across from the Dupo Police Department.

Nearby schools in the Dupo School District were locked down Monday as a precaution until police determined there was "no direct threat" to the schools.
