The £180million park planned for outside Paris is expected to create 3,000 jobs and will be built on the site of the Battle of Montereau in 1814.

The Guardian reported that "Napoleonland" will be built near the town of Montereau, the site of a Napoleonic victory in 1814 and located ... the 198 th anniversary of Napoleon's battle at Montereau.

The plan is to build the unlikely amusement park on the site of the brilliant but doomed French leader’s final victory against the Austrians in the Battle of Montereau in 1814 just south of Paris.
