Grammy winner Michael Bublé won last season of The Voice, but the smooth crooner failed to lure a promising singer to his team on the final night of the show's Blind Auditions for season 27.
Bublé also invited Dawson to bring his family to the stage, saying, “I’ve got to tell you, so happy for you, so miserable for me. All I can say is, ‘Damn you, Adam,’ and welcome to The Voice and what I think will be the start of a fantastic career.”
With the battle rounds just around the corner, mentors John Legend, Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, and Kelsea Ballerini finalized their teams on the last night of blind auditions. The Voice season 27, episode 5, was released on NBC on Monday, March 3, 2025. The episode synopsis reads as the following:
The contestant, who performed Paul Anka’s “Put Your Head On My Shoulder,” was clearly interested in traditional pop standards — Buble’s wheelhouse — and sang the second half of the song in Spanish (Buble’s wife is from Argentina).
Third-year student Simone Marijic sang Olivia Rodrigo’s song, “favorite crime,” landing her on country singer Kelsea Ballerini’s team.
Now that coaches Adam Levine, John Legend, Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini have their teams, these are celebrities joining them as battle advisors.
