It’s officially a truce between Clemson and Florida State on one side and the ACC on the other, as all parties ended their ongoing litigation after agreeing to a settlement that will change the conference’s revenue distribution system and brings down penalties for exiting members.

Leaders at FSU and Clemson voted Tuesday to end more than a year of litigation against the Atlantic Coast Conference, stabilizing a league that only months ago seemed on the brink of fracturing.

The ACC announced Tuesday that it had resolved its legal disputes with Clemson and Florida State, the two football powerhouses that threatened the conference’s future viability with legal threats over the terms of their possible departures.
