Mistake or not, Ross Chastain's "overzealous" move at the beginning of COTA could have a negative impact on his reputation.

From the start of Sunday's EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas, Chase Elliott was behind the eight-ball.

“Yeah, I don't make choices on that. I don't make any decisions,” three-time Cup Series champion Joey Logano said. “It's a beautiful facility. It's nice but hey I'm also a fan of change and a fan of going to new places and doing different things and I always thought that's good.”

Ross Chastain said he made a mistake at the start of last weekend’s Cup race at Circuit of the Americas that led to him spinning Chase Elliott’s car. Chastain spoke publicly for the first time about the incident Friday at Phoenix Raceway.
