Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 have been delayed by two weeks. The news comes from a post on the official Call of Duty X / Twitter account, where it was confirmed that Season 3 will now launch on April 3 instead of March 20.

It's a big month for Call of Duty, what with Black Ops 6 Season 3 gearing up for launch and Warzone's fifth anniversary next week. But with all of this comes a ton of pressure, which it seems like the devs are feeling as Call of Duty announces that Season 3 has been delayed by two weeks.

If you were hoping to be delving into season 3 of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone later this month, you're out of luck. Activision has announced that it needs a bit more time to put together this update, but has also promised that when it does drop, it'll be "a big moment".

Activision has delayed the rollout of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3, including the anticipated return of the latter's classic Verdansk map. Season 3 was previously due to arrive around 20th March. Now, it'll hit two weeks later on 3rd April.

Warzone will celebrate its fifth anniversary on March 10th. The game arrived back in 2020, and has become a staple of the franchise ever since. In the announcement for the delay, Activision noted that there will be “more to come following Call of Duty: Warzone’s 5th anniversary next week.
