Anyhow, I spoke to some college coaches who were in attendance to see what all the fuss was about with this kid named Blades who was from the Nashville area. They were all in agreement that he was a different breed and represented something special even at his age.

Blades Brown is a high school junior from Nashville, Tennessee, who is considered the best golfing prospect in the class of 2026. While most high school golf prospects choose to attend college, Brown is skipping college and turn pro starting in 2025.

Blades Brown, the top-ranked player in the Class of 2026, announced on Tuesday he's making the leap from amateur golf in 2025. And the high school junior from Nashville will make his pro debut at the PGA Tour's American Express in January.
