Roy Cooper, the former governor of North Carolina, took a a swipe at former Carolina Hurricanes star Mikko Rantanen after the winger was traded to the Dallas Stars.

After eight years as North Carolina’s chief executive, Gov. Roy Cooper is saying goodbye to the office. Cooper is returning home to Nash County Wednesday to deliver his farewell address.
