The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person died and a second was injured in a crash that followed a police chase we learned on Monday.

A fatal collision claimed the life of one individual Saturday evening, December 14, 2024, at 11:30pm in Orangeburg County.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. near Orangeburg and is being investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
