At a ceremony on Monday, Priscilla Presley asked state lawmakers to partially fund the relocation of a rock and soul music museum in Memphis.

Presley is the latest recipient of the Colonel Aide De Camp Award, the highest honor a civilian can receive in Tennessee. Fittingly enough 64 years ago almost to the day, Elvis received the exact one.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The State of Tennessee is set to honor Priscilla Presley with the highest civilian honor on Monday. Priscilla, the ex-wife of the late Elvis Presley, will be awarded the Colonel, Aide de Camp Award, by Gov. Bill Lee and other lawmakers at the State Capitol during the legislation’s ceremonial proceedings.
