It began making snow on Oct. 19 and recently experienced more than a foot of snowfall in a single day, bolstering the resort's base snow depth ahead of the season's planned kickoff after Thanksgiving.
The train will depart for the first time this season at 7 a.m. on Friday, part of its expanded service for 2025.
