Late last month, Rockstar Games announced that GTA 5 would be getting a huge free update for all players on PC, bringing the game up to the standard of the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the games and sprinkling in a few additions just for PC players. Rockstar launched the PC Enhanced version of GTA 5 on 4th March 2025, and the upgrade is available for free for the players who own a PC copy of the game.
