In recent days, there was talk around the NBA that Bradley Beal was looking for a buyout of his contract with the Phoenix Suns, and that if he was granted a buyout, the Los Angeles Lakers were one of a few teams that would have interest in him.

Personnel across several other teams -- including the Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers, sources said -- pursued Bradley Beal and had extensive conversations with him and Bartelstein in recent weeks.

The Los Angeles Lakers might be one simple roster move away from becoming the favorites to win the NBA Finals.

If Bradley Beal's contract gets bought out by the Suns, the Lakers will reportedly have interest in signing him.
