Assassin's Creed Shadows' main story will take between 30–40 hours to complete. Shadows is most similar in length to Origins and will be shorter than the behemoth Valhalla. The open world will have a seasonal system with gameplay implications and less map clutter.

Assassin's Creed Shadows will give you the option to switch on guaranteed one-shot assassinations, Ubisoft has confirmed.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows players will be able to finish the game in 30-40 hours. That’s according to the title’s creative director, Jonathan Dumont, who also held the same role on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
