The Denver Broncos have a chance to get a lot better during the 2025 NFL offseason. Denver enters free agency on Monday with roughly $40 million in cap space to spend. The Broncos are getting a head start on free agency by working on a contract extension with one defensive starter.

As the Broncos prepare for free agency, they re-signed a familiar face to backup starting quarterback Bo Nix, though other teams had interest.

Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos were reportedly fighting hard to make sure that they were able to run back the same quarterback room they had last season in 2025. The organization is obviously looking to continue building around Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate Bo Nix.
