The single-vehicle crash happened on the B3233 in Bideford at about 04:40 BST on Sunday. A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital and remained there while he received treatment, officers said.

Emergency services were called at about 13:00 BST on Saturday to the collision near Abbotsham Cross in Bideford. The woman, from Barnstaple, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
