Connor Zilisch held off Shane van Gisbergen over the final laps to win Saturday's Xfinity Series race at Sonoma Raceway. It marked the second race in a row the two finished first and second but last weekend at Chicago it was van Gisbergen defeating Zilisch.

Shane van Gisbergen gave it everything he had, but Connor Zilisch was able to hang onto the lead and take the win in a thrilling finish to Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity race at Sonoma Raceway.

Justin Allgaier, who leads the series in points, came home sixth. Rookie Carson Kvapil finished eighth. Sammy Smith added a ninth-place finish. And van Gisbergen, despite falling short of victory, added another top-two result to his road course résumé.
