Capcom "Focusing" On Reviving Other Franchises After Okami 2 And New Onimusha Reveals
Okami 2--referred as "Okami sequel project" by Capcom--will see the return of the original's director, with Hideki Kamiya. Okami originally launched for PS2 in 2006, and the series did get a follow-up in 2010 (2011 for North America) with Okamiden for Nintendo DS. There is no release window for the Okami sequel project.
