MSI raised prices on RTX 5070 Ti models, signaling potential price hikes by other brands. There's limited availability of RTX 5070 Ti at MSRP due to ongoing supply issues. Nvidia faces competition from AMD with the upcoming RX 9070 XT,

MSI's cheapest RTX 5070 Ti is now $820, which is $70 more expensive than at launch. It's the latest in an annoying trend of ballooning prices.

The latter are PNY’s RTX 5070 OC variant which is priced at the MSRP of $550, along with Gigabyte’s WindForce OC – and the entry-level WindForce is at the same $550 price, as well as the Asus Prime RTX 5070.

The MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X launched two weeks prior at $749, compliant with Nvidia's set MSRP. With MSI's updated prices in effect, this SKU has climbed up to $899, 20% over MSRP, and that's the lowest price you'll see at resellers.

With the launch of the RTX 5090, Nvidia and its add-in board partners set the tone for the rest of the GeForce RTX 50-series. And by that, I mean very low stock levels and almost at none whatsoever at Nvidia's suggested retail price. However, one key partner did launch its new GPUs with some MSRP models, but they've now gone the way of the dodo.
