Leeds' latest signing Lukas Nmecha has spoke about Josuha Guilavogui's role in him signing for the Peacocks. The pair were formerly team-mates at Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg before Guilavogui left for Mainz in 2023.

The pair played together at Wolfsburg, whom Nmecha will leave at the end of this month when his contract expires. The new arrival - United’s first of the window, and a free transfer - inks an initial two-year deal, which begins on July 1.

Lukas Nmecha has been linked with Leeds for a number of weeks now, and supporters have made their feelings known after a major update.
