Former Villanova coach Jay Wright confirmed that he is not interested in the Knicks' head coaching vacancy and wishes to remain retired.

Although the Knicks have three players whom Jay Wright coached at Villanova, the retired Hall of Famer will not resume his career with New York, multiple media outlets reported on Saturday.

The New York Knicks made the somewhat surprising move to fire coach Tom Thibodeau after losing in the Eastern Conference Finals.
