Lawyers in the second murder trial of Karen Read are set to give their closing arguments after weeks of testimony
During Thursday’s charge conference, Judge Beverly Cannone and the attorneys will discuss the instructions to be given to jurors as they begin their deliberations on Read’s guilt or innocence. Closing arguments are scheduled for Friday morning, following nearly eight weeks of testimony.
