Glendale police say a construction worker fell about six stories from the VAI Resort’s construction site located near the Loop 101 and Cardinals Way, not far from State Farm Stadium.

A worker is dead after falling at a construction site at VAI Resort in Glendale. On Monday morning, Glendale police and firefighters responded to the site where a worker had fallen to their death. Police say the worker fell approximately six stories and there is currently no criminal investigation.

A worker at Glendale's VAI Resort died Monday morning after they reportedly fell six stories, the Glendale Police Department said. Officers responded to the site of the 60-acre resort under construction near State Farm Stadium after receiving reports of a worker falling to their death.

The person who died has been identified as an employee. Police have also said that there was “nothing criminal that took place”
