Text messages from Aimee Bock were presented in the Feeding Our Future fraud trial, showing that she compared her nonprofit to the mob

In text messages that Feeding Our Future founder Aimee Bock wrote to others charged in a $250 million conspiracy to defraud taxpayer-funded child nutrition programs, she discussed scorched-earth tactics for dealing with critics of her nonprofit.

Prosecutors on Monday revealed a series of expletive-filled text messages between Aimee Bock and associates at Feeding Our Future, revealing how the nonprofit’s former executive director reacted to early concerns about potential fraud.

In late 2019, months before the COVID-19 pandemic took hold, Aimee Bock leased a space in a Burnsville strip mall.  Documents shown to her jury show she intended to open a daycare. She never did.

Mohamed Ali Hussein, who ran a Faribault nonprofit, testified that the Feeding Our Future leader Aimee Bock coached his wife on filling out fraudulent meal reimbursement.
