A murder investigation has been launched after a paddleboarder’s body was mysteriously discovered in rural Maine. The body of Sunshine Stewart, 48, was discovered under “unusual circumstances” by state game wardens at about 1 a.

Maine State Police are searching for the person who killed a woman who was reported missing while paddleboarding. Sunshine Stewart was found dead last week at a lake in Union. Authorities have not yet said how she died,
