Coincidentally, we just bought 5,000 worth WS2812B’s on some PCBs. They were something different. I can’t wait to see if these hold up better than the REAL WS2812Bs.

The popular WS2812B is 1.6 mm in height, which happens to be the most commonly used PCB thickness. Using EasyEDA, [Sayantan] designed a 8×8 matrix with modified WS2812B footprints.
