VinFast, the Vietnamese startup selling electric vehicles around the world, has launched a second model in the US market, the all-electric, three-row VF 9 crossover. The first eight VF 9 SUVs were handed over to their owners in a ceremony—complete with fireworks—at company headquarters in Los Angeles this week.

The VF 9 has dual motor all-wheel drive and an output of 402 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque, which will get the Eco version from 0-60 mph in a claimed 6.6 seconds (the Plus version takes 0.1 second longer). The company also claims its 123-kwh battery pack can be recharged from 10% to 70% in 35 minutes.
