The Samsung One UI 7 Beta dropped on us this morning alongside Google’s big Pixel Feature Drop, so it has been quite the start to the day on Android. There was also an Android Feature Drop in there too,

The second One UI 7 beta update brings apt of bug fixes including for the Now Bar, the app drawer, DeX, and more. There’s also a new option to set the refresh rate of the display through Game Booster. The update also removes the “Secured by Knox” watermark from the app drawer as spotted by SamMobile, as was expected previously.

Samsung is pushing One UI 7 beta 2 to Galaxy S24 devices in the U.S., packed with loads of bug fixes. Among the fixes, beta 2 is correcting malfunctions with the Now Bar, issues with TV product connections over DeX, and more. Samsung finally opened its One UI 7 beta program on December 5, which introduced the Now Bar on the lock screen.

One UI 7 beta program is currently rolling out on Galaxy S24 series devices in India, Korea, Germany, Poland, the UK, and the US. In the coming weeks, Samsung will make it available to more eligible Galaxy devices and the rest of the world.

After numerous delays and uncertainty about when the update would arrive, Samsung has finally announced that it’s releasing a beta version of One UI 7 to the public.
