A High Surf Advisory issued by the National Weather Service has been extended and will remain in effect until 10 a.m.
San Diego lifeguards were warning the public Wednesday of poor surfing, diving and navigation conditions, while a high surf warning remained in effect at county beaches through Thursday.
San Diegans planning to go to the beach or out in the water should be careful the next few days, according to the National Weather Service.
