SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Take a dog on an adventure and help them get adopted. That’s the goal of the San Diego Humane Society’s Dog Day Out Program, which is now being expanded across the region.

People interested in a pet but not sure if they have what it takes can now use the San Diego Humane Society's Dog Day Out Program to get a taste of the pup life, it was announced Wednesday.

The official 2025 San Diego County Fair tagline, “Summer Pet-tacular,” was revealed on Tuesday at a meeting of the 22nd District Agricultural Association Board of Directors, who own and operate the fairgrounds.
