Game Freak, the Japanese developer behind the popular Pokemon video games, has reportedly been hit with a massive hack resulting in gigabytes of stolen data leaking online.

Japanese video game developer Game Freak has confirmed it suffered a cyberattack in August after source code and game designs for unpublished games were leaked online.

Game Freak confirmed last week it had been hacked, with more than 2,600 pieces of employee data taken. It didn’t confirm the massive heist of its game data, though, but the game data likely originates from that same breach.
