Oregon became the fourth team this season to hold the No. 1 ranking in the Associated Press college football poll, moving into the top spot on Sunday for the first time in 12 years after Texas lost at home to Georgia.

A week of of notable games between ranked teams has led to a big shake-up in the top 10 of the college football rankings with Oregon taking over the No. 1 spot in the Coaches Poll released Sunday. The Ducks moved into first place in the Coaches Poll top 25 after a status-affirming Week 8 performance against Purdue on Friday night.
