Michelle Sadio, 44, died at the scene of a shooting outside a church in Brent, northwest London, in what the Metropolitan Police described as a "senseless act of violence".

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was shot dead outside a church in north-west London. Michelle Sadio, 44, was standing amongst mourners outside the River of Life Elim Pentecostal Church on Gifford Road in Harlesden, when shots were fired at about 21:30 GMT on 14 December, the Met Police said.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Michelle Sadio, who was shot dead outside a church in Brent, London, last month. Sadio, 44, was killed in the shooting which took place following a wake on December 14.
