Method Man has been accused of putting his hands on his daughter’s ex-boyfriend in a gym in New York. The Wu-Tang Clan rapper was reportedly at a Crunch Fitness in Staten Island, and the alleged victim claims he was punched in the face seven times.

While Method Man denied ever being arrested, The Post says a complaint was filed against the 53-year-old rapper with the New York Police Department. However, the NYPD confirmed to Billboard there was no arrest report.

Method Man, born Clifford Smith, has denied allegations of assault that were reported by the New York Post on January 16. A representative for the Wu-Tang Clan rapper clarified to Billboard, stating, “Mr. Smith categorically denies the allegations as reported and has not been the subject of an arrest by any law enforcement agency.”
