The return of “Malcolm in the Middle,” which aired from 2000 to 2006, will follow Malcolm as he helps his parents celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary, Disney+ announced.

Disney+ has ordered a short-run revival of Malcolm in the Middle with original stars Frankie Muniz — who played the title character — along with Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek. Series creator Linwood Boomer is also set to return as writer and executive producer of the four-episode revival.
