The United States Commerce Department has reportedly initiated an investigation into Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the world’s largest chip manufacturer, to determine if it has violated U.

The U.S. is reportedly probing whether TSMC is making AI or smartphone chips with Huawei, currently barred from accessing chips made with U.S. technology.
