As part of a larger plan to develop new sports venues and refurbish old ones in Chesterfield County, work is underway for a six-field softball complex at Harry G. Daniel Park at Ironbridge.

Since 2011, the schools have leased the baseball, softball and soccer fields from the city at no cost, under the 2023 and 2018 agreements and a previous agreement reached in 2011.
