Caltrans crews are making an emergency repair to a pothole on I-680 in Fremont, the Fremont Police Department said on X. As of 3:30 p.m., only one center lane on I-680 northbound at the bridge crossing of Mission Boulevard is open to traffic.

Drivers on I-680 in Fremont can expect a slow commute Wednesday as Caltrans crews work to repair a large pothole in a northbound lane. The pothole is in a right lane on the freeway near N. Mission Boulevard and Via San Gabriel.
