The Elder Scrolls Online developer ZeniMax Online Studios has unionized, with Microsoft voluntarily recognizing the union.

Following in the footsteps of earlier union action by Bethesda workers and ZeniMax QA workers, 461 developers at ZeniMax Online Studios have launched their union. The union has been recognized by parent company Microsoft, which acquired ZeniMax and it subsidiaries in 2021.

Workers at ZeniMax Online Studios have voted to unionise. The ZOS United-CWA union, as part of the Communications Workers of America, has been recognised by parent company, Microsoft, "signalling a significant victory for workers' rights in the industry".

The union consists of web developers, designers, engineers, and graphic artists at ZeniMax Online Studios working on massively multiplayer online role-playing game The Elder Scrolls Online. They are mostly located in Maryland, but are also based in various states including California, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin.
