Until recently, Austin Butler was the poster boy of the tousled medium-length ’90s cut, a deliberately messy trim that has dominated the barbershop request list. But last night, at the San Francisco International Film Festival, the actor unveiled a rugged hot-guy buzz cut.

In a video shared to social media by fans on Thursday, December 5, the Elvis actor was spotted by fans as he was out on a walk. Known for his lush, blond locks, Butler was seen with his head shaven. Though his interaction with fans was seemingly brief, he posed for some selfies with them.

A departure from the chin-length style he was rocking until recently, Austin looked cleaner and more debonair thanks to his finely shaven new hairstyle.
