Ethiopians Tadese Takele and Sutume Kebede won their divisions of the Tokyo Marathon on a nearly perfect spring day in the Japanese capital on Sunday.

Tadese Takele (2:02:23) and Sutume Asefa Kebede (2:16:31) won the men’s and women’s races at the 2025 Tokyo Marathon.
