Following his triumph at the Dubai ATP 500 last week, fans have returned to believing that Stefanos Tsitsipas can win a Grand Slam title in the near future.

DUBAI – Stefanos Tsitsipas won his first title in almost a year and broke a finals hoodoo as he cruised past Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-3 in the Dubai final on March 1. “There is nothing that ensured the win today, it was just pure fighting,” said Tsitsipas, after winning in one hour and 28 minutes.

Stefanos Tsitsipas clinched his first ATP 500 title by defeating Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-3 in the Dubai Championships final. The Greek star, who had lost two previous finals in Dubai, secured his 12th career title and re-entered the ATP top 10.
