Beekman averaged 18.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.3 assists and 2.8 steals while shooting 51.5% from the field in nine appearances for Warriors G League affiliate Santa Cruz.

Reece Beekman is just a third of the way through his rookie season and has already been traded. But in coming to rebuilding Brooklyn from contending Golden State, the young point guard has also been given a golden opportunity.
