White Settlement police, along with federal authorities, have initiated an investigation into suspicious drone activity Tuesday night. Police started responding to multiple reports of drones flying near city neighborhoods and federal and military properties at 8:14 p.

Drones were spotted flying over North Texas, including near military bases, as reports of the unmanned aircraft nationwide grow.

WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas — Federal and local officials are investigating after multiple drones were spotted flying in a North Texas city Tuesday.

A cold front moved through North Texas on Wednesday morning, bringing rain and storms that resulted in a messy morning commute across the metroplex. By sunrise, the front had passed through most of North Texas, and the clouds cleared from northwest to southeast.

A line of non-severe storms moved through the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex during the early morning hours and left behind cooler temperatures.

The cold front will move through San Antonio between 11 a.m. and noon, bringing a noticeable drop in temps, along with a few showers.
