That reconfigured frontcourt fueled a strong start to an eventual 80-45 victory.  Either Daniel Jacobsen, now likely out for the season with a broken leg, or Will Berg had started at center in Purdue’s first five games.

Purdue coach Matt Painter talked about the starting lineup change, the rebounding battle, improving in the turnover category and more after a win over Marshall.

Trey Kaufman-Renn led Purdue with 18 points. He made 7-of-12 shots. Myles Colvin added 13 points as he hit 4-of-6 shots. Camden Heide also had 13 points. He hit 3-of-3 from three-point range and made 4-of-4 free throws. It so happens Colvin and Heide made their first starts memorable and all Heide’s points came in the first half.
